Where The Wild Things Are Cupcakes

August 27, 2009 by Home Crafts · Leave a Comment

Fans of the book will love these delicious cupcakes. They’d be great for any kids party, but that doesn’t mean adults won’t enjoy them too. These are texas-sized snickerdoodle cupcakes. For frosting and decorations I used chocolate ganache (Moishe), canned vanilla frosting (Max), sprinkles, store-bought gumpaste eyes, and fondant colored tinted by hand. Link Via Al Dente

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Great for Beginners!
This is a great video for beginners who don’t know anyone personally to teach them how to knit. I had been trying to learn to knit for a month now and finally know how to do a knit stitch thanks to this video!

If you know someone you can help you knit, get their help first but this video is great for people who don’t have that help. I would suggest learning how to knit from a video than buying a book.

5 Stars I do not work for Leisure Arts and I liked this DVD
I thought this was good. I got it for my grandkids to learn to knit and I think it is just the video to do that!! I recommend it!! It’s very clear and easy to follow for adults and children. I will probably purchase the rest of the series. OH…by the way, I do not work for Leisure Arts…this is an honest review. Thank you!

5 Stars I Can’t Believe I’m knitting DVD
The knitting instructional DVD is clear and organized well. Miss Leapman brings her knowledge as a teacher to the privacy of your own home. If you need to review a stitch, the DVD’s format design allows you to view the demonstration without having to return to the beginning of the DVD. “Two needles up” to Leisure Arts.

Creating Collages About Spring

Creating collages about spring provides enjoyment for youngsters and adults. These can be very simple or they might be detailed, made with a great deal of thought. Image: sxc.hu Cut out pictures of birds and flowers from magazines and catalogs. Arrange them haphazardly or planned to tell a story, on poster board. This is fun to do with youngsters in school or at home. Perhaps they can write a poem about spring to accompany. Find around you in the yard, the woods (our yard i
